The Hart Project is located about 26 kilometers southeast of Timmins, Ontario. The deposit is hosted by ultramafic rocks and the resource consists of three separate zones: iron formation, disseminated sulphide, and massive sulphide. The resource is fairly steeply digging, with the mineable resource located mostly within the massive sulphides.
The Preliminary Economic Assessment from 2012 assumes an underground mine operation with a production rate of 750 tonnes per day for an 8 year mine life. The estimated life of mine production totals over 38 million pounds of Nickel.
