The Fostung project is located in the Sudbury district in Ontario. It is approximately 8 kilometres southeast of Espanola, Ontario. An all-weather gravel road extends from the property to Espanola, where a highway is located. The mineralization at the property is a skarn type, tungsten deposit. The Fostung property hosts metasedimentary rocks of the Huronian Supergroup.
Historical exploration work completed on the property includes surface mapping and sampling, trenching, geophysical and geochemical surveys and drill target testing. The most recent Technical Report, completed in 2007, contained a Mineral Resource reporting 12.4 million tonnes of Inferred resources containing 0.213% tungsten.
