The Box deposit is one of two deposits in the Goldfields Project. It is located in northern Saskatchewan and is the company´s most advanced gold asset. The Box deposit and the second deposit (Athona deposit) are located two kilometres apart. The deposits are comprised of mineralized stockwork quartz-carbonate veining systems. The gold occurs in the vein arrays as a locally coarse grained, free phase and also in association with dispersed sulphide in both the veins and adjacent wall rocks. The box deposit´s strike length is approximately 750 metres.
A Pre-Feasibility Study was completed in 2011 on the Box and Athona deposits. The royalty Sandstorm holds on the Box deposit is for production beneath 50 meters below sea level elevation, which is not included in the mine plan from the 2011 Pre-feasibility study.

A Technical Report on the project was completed by Mercator Geological Services Limited. They completed initial field evaluation of selected exploration target areas. The mine plan and economic information from the 2011 report was not included nor updated.
